City University of Macau (CityU) is a private university in Macau. Established under the name “University of East Asia” in 1981, it was renamed in 2011. The university offers numerous doctorate, master’s, bachelor’s degree programmes and pre-university study courses. There are 13 different learning institutes offering different programmes, including business, communication, languages, technology, law, design, finance, psychology, amongst many others. Here, one can also do some English tests such as TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, as well as choose between nine bachelor’s degree programs, 16 master’s programs and 12 doctoral ones.
City University of Macau’s peninsula branches are located in a commercial complex called Royal Center Building on Avenida do Dr. Rodrigo Rodrigues, and on another building opposite to the Macao Cultural Centre, near the Macao Science Center. Their Taipa campus is located in Avenida Padre Tomás Pereira where it used to be University of Macau (now relocated to Hengqin area).
