The Macao East Asian Games Dome is the largest sports infrastructure in Macau, with capacity for 15,000 people. It features an expansive green outdoor area where over a hundred species of plants grow. The Dome is divided into zones A, B and C, which mainly comprises of the four separate parts of the arena, theatre, exhibition centre, and the Macao International Convention Centre. It is now used as training bases for various sports programmes. It hosted the 2007 Asian Indoor Games, having been inaugurated in 2005.
