Nam Kee Claypot Rice is a tiny eatery hidden in an alleyway on the Macau side. Although hard to find, this spot is well-known and loved among locals. While this place does not offer expensive design and world-famous chefs, they serve one of the best clay pot rice in town. Nam Kee Claypot Rice has more than 50 years of cooking mastery of the dish.
The dish is cooked on a gas stove first and then on a charcoal stove. The toppings selection includes chicken & mushroom, Chinese sausage, pork ribs, yellow eel, and others. However, you can order additional ones for MOP $10–20 extra. Besides the clay pot rice, there is soup and sizzling chicken, drinks such as beer, soy milk, and tea. The menu is available only in Chinese.
