Venchi is a classic chocolatier shop located at The Venetian Macao, close to Häagen-Dazs and Godiva. Venchi boasts a classic and luxurious interior decor filled with golden details and more. Its main attraction is an immense variety of chocolate truffles: all set in boxes throughout the shop, there’s an array of different flavors and fillings, such as white ganache truffle with raspberry, Piedmont hazelnut, pistachio “chocaviar”, Cuba Rhum, amongst many others.
They also have chocolate bars with different ingredients like berries and raspberries, orange, as well as different percentages of cocoa. More or less sugary, this is the place to go when looking for a sweet gift, themed seasons like Easter or Christmas, and other celebrations especially for the kids. The shop also sells homemade ice cream–milk-based–with few, yet wholesome flavors. These include pistachio, stracciatella, chocolate, vanilla, and hazelnut.
With the surname of its founder (Italian Silvano Venchi), it all began when the chocolate aficionado started making his creations at his Piedmont shop, in the 1800s. Venchi was officially inaugurated in 1878, the year its Giandujotto 1878–with a minimum of 32% Piedmont hazelnuts–also became famous until today. It’s now spread worldwide and has more than 100 stores across 70 countries, including Hong Kong, Macau, New York, and Dubai.
Opening hours: Sunday–Thursday, 10:00am–11:00pm, Friday and Saturday, 10:00am–midnight
