Opened in 2004, this library occupies an area of 220 square meters, is located in Areia Preta Urban Park, and was built through the generous donation of Mr. Wong Ieng Kuan. Apart from a book reading area, this library also houses a multimedia room and periodicals reading area for public use.
It has a collection of 6,570 volumes, 374 audiovisual items, 51 newspaper titles, and 134 different newspaper titles. There is a seating capacity of 60. (The children’s reading area was moved to Wong Ieng Kuan Children’s Library in Areia Preta Urban Park on 2nd July 2011).
