The Ireland-based skincare brand uses organic seaweed products to renew, balance and enhance one’s natural beauty. This spa treatment makes for a perfect night’s sleep and is exclusive to Grand Lapa. Using the best seaweed product from VOYA, the treatment is inspired by the theme of seaweed.
The treatment begins with a hot cup of VOYA herbal tea that has an aroma and flavor as fresh as the wild sea air on the Atlantic coast of Ireland. Soothing and rejuvenating, VOYA seaweed teas aids to calm down upset digestion and stomach before our journey begins. Our spa therapist waits for us as we unwind with a quick warm shower. Our body starts to calm. Depending on your skin type, your spa therapist will select whichever product suits you best and the voyage starts off with a luxury facial and a face, neck, and shoulder massage. Tension and anxiety are reduced instantly, making the skin look clearer and smoother.
Healing stones are then placed on our chest and both hands to convert negative energy into positive vibes while our therapist works with us in chakra balancing through a gentle rocking motion, using her forearm to easily control the pressure and massage into our deep tissue, this technique made us feel like we were on current waves and the deep breathing began to relax our mind. A purifying foot ritual is also included where she gently cleanses and exfoliates our feet with hot, steamed towels and soothing aromas. From our ankles, she works her palms through various pressure points up to our calves. Palms are switched to forearms using specialized moves inspired by Balinese and Hawaiian massage to ensure you feel completely pampered from head to toe. We almost fell asleep halfway as we nearly lose ourselves in this distressing treatment.
