Lionsgate Entertainment World has finally opened as Asia’s first movie-themed indoor experience center at Novotown Hengqin. What is it?
Lionsgate Entertainment World brings to life some of Lionsgate’s most successful film franchises. This place features over 30 interactive and immersive attractions and entertainment offerings. It’s like a theme park but set in the worlds of your favorite films. Designed in partnership with Thinkwell Group (a top-end design and production agency responsible for designing major theme parks and resorts around the world) and the operator Village Roadshow Theme Parks (a world-leading theme park operator in America and Australia), this is really a state of the art theme park.

The Twilight Saga Midnight Ride
Remember the thrill of the werewolves and vampires racing through the woods to save, or eat–depending on which side they’re on–the human race in The Twilight Saga? Well, at the Lionsgate Entertainment World you will be able to take part. Speed through the trees with Jacob and the Black Pack wolves on a daring VR dirt-bike adventure through the moonlit woods. But beware the other creatures in the darkness for they might be out for blood.
Hunger Games Capitol Club
Other than the rides, the dining options are themed too. Visit the Capitol, the Hunger Games’ most exclusive and futuristic district. This dining establishment is frequented by the Capitol elite, offers the freshest and finest culinary masterpieces that Panem (the name of the Hunger Games world) has to offer. Any superfan will be thrilled by the breathtaking views overlooking the Capitol. You will definitely see some interesting hairstyles if the films have anything to go by. Additionally, there may be some flying cars, and just maybe, you’ll see this year’s tributes.
Gods of Egypt – Battle for Eternity
As the epic battle wages between good and evil, at the Lionsgate Entertainment World, you will be able to prove that you have what it takes to win the fight. You’ll need strength and devotion as you fight alongside the Gods of Egypt! This is the world’s first purpose-built VR roller coaster. Guests soar at high-speed through the classic Gods of Egypt battle scene. The VR roller coaster will take you on an adventure through ancient Egypt, do you have what it takes?
