We hope you’re as excited as we are for the coming weekend, Christmas is upon us and lighting up our little city are these awesome events from Christmas theme buffets, to a parade, meeting a familiar friendly man in red awaited musicals and a firework display that’ll surely heighten your festive spirit this December!

CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT AT GALAXY MACAU

This holidays eason, Galaxy Macau positively sparkles with its decor and activities to usher in an unforgettable Christmas and hail a lucky New Year to come. With an awesome Christmas tree that almost tops the ceiling and decorated in the main lobby as you enter East Square, be sure to catch the grand Christmas parade as it is really a sight to watch, especially for children.

When: 7:00pm–8:00pm, December 1–26

Where: Starting point on East Square, Galaxy Macau

Ho Ho Ho Santa Ron is also back in town! Be prepared for a wonderful interaction and celebrate a delightful Christmas creating wonderful joyous moments together. You might even get a present during your visits.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR’S AT THE RITZ-CARLTON CAFÉ

The festive season at The Ritz-Carlton, Macau has become a renowned celebration, each year offering an unrivaled culinary journey through fine flavors and festivity.

Partake in traditional French fare at The Ritz-Carlton Café – the most discerning guests will be spoilt for choices, evoking timeless French elegance during the holiday season.

Din Dong x Taipa Village Charity Carnival Main Visual

DIN DONG X TAIPA VILLAGE CHARITY CARNIVAL

Following the success of European Charity Carnival last year, Taipa Village is excited to introduce the anticipated Din Dong x Taipa Village Charity Carnival this year. Just in time for the festive Christmas season and collaborating with established Hong Kong Cartoon Character “Din Dong”, the exciting event aims to attract more guests and visitors this year.

Stroll and sample delicious treats from gourmet booths and enjoy live entertainment at the joyous affair. Showcasing local handicrafts, designer products, and accessories, as well as a string of interactive workshops and nostalgic interactive games to amaze the visitors, there’s no doubt it’s going to be an amazing affair for everyone.

A donation counter will also be set up by local charitable organization “The Salvation Army” to collect secondhand books and clothing. All revenue from the merchants’ sales and activities will be donated to The Salvation Army after the deduction of operational costs. The overall committee also aims to provide significant benefits to social service organizations through a series of charitable activities during the event period.

The prelude of the charity carnival features a creative art competition with “Din Dong” as the main theme character.  This competition will take place from October 1 to November 20, 2017. It is open to local students in all tiers.  And, winners of this competition will be awarded in the December carnival as part of the opening ceremony on December 16, 2017 wide cd.

THE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE RETURNS TO GRAND COLOANE RESORT

This Christmas, you and your family are invited  to celebrate Christmas at Grand Coloane led by the Gingerbread Man and friends, and bringing you about 30 booths featuring kids’ arts and crafts, Christmas games, Christmas cookies baking classes, bouncy castle, as well as Festive photobooth by MClub, ANIMA pet adoptions and more. Be spoiled and enjoy!

Bene maintains its upbeat, cheerful atmosphere for the festive season with a packed schedule to greet guests in all of its best forms. Guests can expect Bene to deliver top-notch traditional Italian cuisine through family set dinners, brunches, semi-buffet lunches, buffet dinners, and a Christmas Mercato. A special Buon Natale Mercato is also taking place at Bene on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, presenting an interactive dining experience inspired by Italian marketplaces. Expect bold, rustic pass-around pastas, seafood, and suckling pig all paired with quality wine, and artisanal retail products.

MACAO’S 18TH ANNIVERSARY AND NYE FIREWORKS DISPLAY

On the 18th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao, both locals and visitors can enjoy fascinating fireworks displays lighting up the night skies with spectacular pyrotechnics whilst enjoying the festive vibes on the Macau Tower shorefront.

When: Wednesday, 9:00pm, December 20 and Sunday, 12:00 midnight, December 31 (New Year’s Eve)

THE SOUND OF MUSIC MUSICAL COMES TO MACAU

One of the world’s most popular and successful musicals, The Sound of Music is coming to The Venetian Macao’s Theatre to delight audiences over the Christmas and New Year period. Auditions for the roles of the Von Trapp children were held at The Venetian Macao and Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, with 18 talented Macao and Hong Kong youngsters chosen to play in the show. The show also includes some of the most memorable songs ever performed on the stage, including “My Favorite Things”, “Do-Re-Mi”, “Climb Ev’ry Mountain”, “The Lonely Goatherd”, “Sixteen Going on Seventeen”, and wonderful title song “The Sound of Music”.
