What does the word “fashion” mean to you?
The word “fashion” basically means to me a way in which people of different ages and backgrounds can express themselves, not only in the way they dress but the way they live their lives.
How would you describe your personal style?
Oh my style is usually seen as being ugly depending on who you ask. It includes a lot of either oversized or distressed clothing which people tend to love or hate. My style spans a bit over different sections of fashion such as high fashion, streetwear and “casual” clothing.
How do you get your daily dose of fashion information?
I follow fashion through famous pages such as Hypebeast and Highsnobiety but I like to think I get a lot of my fashion information and influence through my friends.
Does fashion allow people to express their individuality or does it force people to conform?
Of course, fashion allows people to express their individuality, there are millions of variations of clothing and a person can even choose to learn to make their own clothes to suit themselves if they wish.
Does the media (or the fashion industry) play some role in creating or continuing stereotypes?
The media does contribute in stereotyping, that has to do with the fact that you can’t escape media as it’s always going to be there unless you’re isolated from everything.
How does Macau inspire the way you dress?
Less, it inspires me to dress less due to the fact of how humid and hot it gets here.
What do you think of Macau’s fashion scene? How can it be improved?
Macau’s fashion scene differs from person to person, Macau is a shopping haven for people that crave high fashion brands as well as having communities that are heavily involved in American streetwear.
What’s your go-to outfit when you don’t know what to wear?
Joggers. The tops I wear have to do with what season it is but joggers and Adidas NMDs are the most comfortable things ever.
What is your favorite place to shop in Macau?
Around the San Malo Area, this is where all the streetwear resellers are located with brands such as Stussy, Supreme and a big selection of hyped sneakers.
Who takes photos of your outfits?
Usually just my friends.
How much attention do you pay to fashion in terms of trends in the way you dress?
I don’t usually pay attention to many trends anymore, I think it’s important to decide yourself what you think is cool or not.
Which social media platform are you most active on?
Snapchat, just because everyone uses it and it’s quick and easy to contact your friends.
Which celebrities have the best style to you?
Lil Uzi Vert, Conor McGregor, Asap Rocky all have amazing style, but I think if I had to pick a favorite it would have to be G-Eazy.
How can Macau improve its fashion scene?
The fashion scene can’t improve, the selection of fashion available here is varied and amazing.
