The Xian Xinghai Memorial Museum was created to pay tribute and honor the Chinese Macau-born musician, Xian Xinghai (1905-1945). The cultural venue provides a look into the life of the renowned artist, who dedicated his short life to music, having created the most diverse melodies filled with Chinese details and symbolism.
The museum was revamped by the Cultural Institute, while still preserving the colonial-style architecture of the green building. Located on a typical Macau street, it’s attached to other cultural venues usually showcasing contemporary art exhibitions.
Opening hours: Wednesday–Monday, 10:00am–6:00pm
