Anak Djarkarta is a restaurant located in the old part of Macau and offers a wide and affordable selection of truly traditional Indonesian dishes. Simple and cozy, this spot is owned by Indonesian and it’s usually quite busy with expats living in the city.
Signature dishes are noodles soups with meat and some other specialties include deep-fried fish and meat as well. This is one of the only restaurants in Macau with a Halal (Muslim food) certificate issued by The Incorporated Trustees of the Islamic Community Fund of Hong Kong. There’s are a few benches to have a quick fix, but lunch hours can be busy in this spot.
