Wong Chi Kei in Taipa Village is another location of a legendary Chinese chain with almost 70 years of history. This traditional eatery mainly attracts foodies for their signature bamboo noodles with shrimp roe. The recipe was brought to Macau by Wong Chi Kei’s founder after he learned it from a master chef in Guangzhou. Besides noodles, the restaurant menu features a range of Cantonese specialties, such as roasted pork rice, beef congee, and others.
At the entrance, there is a shop where you can purchase the famous noodles and cook them at home. Its casual and simple interior, home-style cuisine, and helpful waiters make Wong Chi Kei a perfect place for any occasion.
