The Rugby World Cup 2019 at The Roadhouse Macau
The Rugby World Cup 2019 is in full swing! As one of the best places to watch live sports in town, The Roadhouse Macau is the venue of choice for this tournament. Check out the schedule and bring your friends. This is the first time the tournament has been held in Asia and outside the traditional heartland of the rugby union.
The opening match of the Rugby World Cup 2019 took place at Tokyo Stadium in Chōfu, Tokyo and the final match will be held at International Stadium Yokohama in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. The Rugby World Cup is a men’s rugby union tournament contested every four years between the top international teams. The tournament was first held in 1987 and co-hosted by New Zealand and Australia.

Halloween Edition: Horror Stories by Taeeun Yoon
Alright, we had to throw in one spooky Halloween themed event but only because it is so very intriguing. Inspired by Korean horror movies, Taeeun Yoon, former bartender of Charles H Bar in Seoul, South Korea prepares cocktails infused with arousing aromas, fearful flavors, and macabre memories. But be cautious: these cocktails are not for the faint-hearted.

2019 Macau Open Badminton
“2019 Macau Open Badminton, Part of the HSBC BWF World Tour” is an annual sports event held from October 29 to November 3, at the Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion, Macau.
The first “Macau Open Badminton” was organized in 2006 and it’s now in its 14th year! Every year, with approximately 300 players from 20 countries/regions participating in men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles to contest for the tournament’s total prize money of approximately MOP $1,200,000. In recent years, some of the outstanding players who had participated in the Macau Open in the past few years are Chen Qingchen, Jia Yifan, Li Junhui, Liu Yuchen from China, Chou Tien Chen, Tai Tzu Ying from Chinese Taipei, Srikanth Kidambi from India, Ng Ka Long from Hong Kong China, Akane Yamaguchi from Japan, among others.

Brazilian Gastronomy Week
The 7th Latin American Cultural Festival is organizing a series of activities in Macau, which include a Brazilian Gastronomy Week that starts this weekend and features chef Vic Vieira! He is a Brazilian chef with a passion for local cultures, wherever “local” may be. In his approach to cooking, he is inspired by the people, history, geography, colors and flavors of the neighborhood.
He is in pursuit of authentic Brazilian and South American regional cuisines, the dishes that bring families to the tables and tell people the stories from where they came from. It’s a journey that keeps him going from cooking with grandma at home, being on MasterChef TV show, to opening his restaurant in Shanghai and cooking in many kitchens around the world.

Hairy Crab Feast 2019 at Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16

When the autumn winds blow, the hairy crabs grow. To celebrate the arrival of hairy crab season, Le Chinois Cantonese Restaurant reveals a highly anticipated eight-course Golden Autumn Hairy Crab Set Menu paired with an array of classic Cantonese seafood dishes. The feast begins with a combo of crab fruit salad, deep-fried crab claw and crabmeat xiao long bao. Then, savor bird’s nest soup with minced chicken and crabmeat to fully take in the nutritious and nourishing values. The star of the show–steamed whole hairy crab with shiso leaf–is steamed to perfection to preserve the natural and succulent taste.
