Good Fortune Noodle is known by locals and Portuguese people living in Macau as “Pacapio”, the name that’s written on the building’s exterior. “Pacapio” is the name of a Chinese pigeon race betting game. Located in the city center–in front of Grand Lisboa–it offers a wide array of traditional Cantonese dishes. These include lots of noodles-based dishes–with homemade pasta–and its signature wonton noodle soup, along with congee and snacks too.
Set in Macau peninsula, it’s close to the city’s major bus stop, as well as some hotels and casinos, plus the Portuguese School, Macau Square shopping mall, New Yaohan, and more venues. It’s always quite busy and also a good place to head for late dining or a snack.
Good Fortune Noodle is small but cozy, with friendly staff, affordable, and although portions are individual, sharing is very common at this place. It also showcases dog race results and more. It’s available there and at the Hotel Lisboa.
Opening hours: Daily, 10:00am–2:30am
