One Brother Food is located close to the Border Gate, where Macau meets Mainland China, One Brother Food is a popular local eatery. Known mostly for its unique crab congee (a thick and fluffy, slow-cooked rice porridge), both locals and visitors come to try it, and it is possible to add a variety of other ingredients such as fish, meat, or vegetables to your taste. However, the crab congee is what it focuses on most.
Another must-try dish is their cheung fen, thin rice sheets that come in a variety of ways but are always a favorite. Open until 3:30am, it is a traditional local eat as the place only begins to get busy at 9:00pm with locals ordering a few dishes at a time well into the night. While the menu doesn’t come in English, it is easy to order based on pictures.
