Macau played a big role in Mika’s growth as a person; It’s where she landed her first job abroad. She is currently employed in one of the largest hotel-casinos in Macau as part of the marketing/special events team. Macau may be small compared to Manila, her hometown, but she enjoys the constant surprises the city has to offer.
Immersing herself into the unfamiliar and constantly meeting people from different walks of life make her richer in many ways than one. For the last Three years, her exploration of Macau further lit up her burning desire for traveling. She makes sure to travel for at least twice a year to countries she’s never been. She’s also a big foodie and believes that it’s one of the best ways to know a certain place. To make sure that all of her experiences while traveling are taken into account, she writes her story on her blog. She aspires to better her writing skills by participating in platforms such as Macau Lifestyle for her dream of becoming a huge travel writer someday.
