Casa Don Alfonso–in Grand Lisboa–boasts a family-friendly, warm and casual vibe while standing as a truly Italian restaurant. Helmed by Naples-born Chef de Cuisine Giovanni Galeota, Casa Don Alfonso serves delectable authentic Italian dishes superbly crafted using only the freshest Italian ingredients available.
Chef Giovanni’s recommendations include the Caprese salad with fresh buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil and cherry, a sumptuous homemade black ink tagliolini with scallops and green asparagus, homemade ravioli stuffed with veal ragout in “Genovese” style and burrata cheese, and a U.S. rack of lamb with baby vegetables and Mediterranean pesto sauce. For dessert, the chef suggests a delightful soufflé with yogurt sorbet prepared with prime mangoes. Dining guests at Casa Don Alfonso are welcome to indulge in an antipasti buffet set lunch and the a la carte menu during the evenings.
Macau’s Casa Don Alfonso is from the Italian family with the same name and that has several other restaurants around the world; they opened the first one in Italy in 1890–also the name of this restaurant before it was renovated, Don Alfonso 1890.
Opening hours: Daily, 12:00pm–2:30pm and 6:30pm–10:30pm
