Sitting quietly east of the Camões Garden is Casa Garden, a beautiful colonial villa built in 1770. Formerly the headquarters of the British East India Company–when it was based in Macau in the early 19th century–today Casa Garden Macau is home to the headquarters of the Oriental Foundation.
The villa includes an art gallery and is frequently used to host interesting exhibitions and events. Visitors may stroll around the garden surrounding this charming colonial building, which features a fish pond. The only Protestant cemetery in Macau is also located close by and can be visited. Quincy Adams and Winston Churchill family members rest there, but also British explorers and writers.
