Chakra Space is a hidden-away restaurant in Macau owned by locals. With a peaceful atmosphere and Buddhist themed decor, this restaurant serves both lunch and dinner, although the latter is only available upon booking–with some days in advance. Their menu is mainly vegetarian with some vegan options, but also serving non-vegetarian dishes.
With two floors, this spot is tucked away between bustling Rua do Campo and quiet St. Lazarus district. The upper floor has three main dining areas, with a vast table in the middle, one facing the window and others on a counter style. Main dishes include different kinds of curries–coconut eggplant curry, vegan curry with grain rice–and deli sets that include different foods, ideal to try an assortment of recipes. The homemade bread section includes several sandwiches such as panini with meshed avocado, egg, cheese, cucumber and mayo, or Indian veggie curry roll (carrots, peas, onions, garlic, vegan yogurt and mayo).
Chakra Space also sells vintage clothing and accessories on a corner at the entrance, and has a small outdoor seating area for those wanting to dine outside.
Opening hours: Daily, 12:30pm–4:30pm, 7:00pm–9:30pm
