Gelatina Musang Mok Yei Kei is a shop set in the heart of Taipa Village, in the end of famous Rua do Cunha. With durian ice cream and agar jelly being the kings of their menu, this signature dishes are just two in a long way of traditional desserts. Mainly made with natural ingredients–lots of fruit, some sugar, water, jelly–these are very sought-after by tourists, locals but also all durian lovers.
Inaugurated in 1954, it produces several kinds of sweets: from mango jelly to homemade fruit sodas, there is an array of items selling here. The shop specializes in takeaway as there’s no seating area. However, people usually buy it through the counter and enjoy it on one of the public benches nearby. This shop is located close to cafés and restaurants such as Café Vong Kei, Rooftop and O Santos.
