Five minutes away from Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16, but also from spots like Nam Ping or Senado Building and Senado Square, it’s the ideal restaurant to dine at when looking for a different flair with a Chinese touch.
Located in the northwestern part of China, Xinjiang is home to a unique culture. With so many influences from neighbouring countries like Russia, Pakistan and others, Xinjiang cuisine is distinct because of the large Muslim population in the region. Loulan Islam restaurant serves halal food and you’ll notice the abundance of lamb included in their dishes, which is the cuisine’s signature meat. You can also find Xinjiang’s elaborate hand-pulled noodles on their menu. Thick noodles with a bouncy texture married with different meats and spices make one order filling. Although this restaurant is quite pricey, it is worth spending a little extra for tasting one of China’s more exotic cuisines.
