Also known as Macau Protestant Chapel, Morrison Chapel is a charming white church next to Camões Garden. A part of the Anglican Missionary Area of Macau, it was built in 1921. However, its history goes back to 19th century when the chapel was most likely just a room at the headquarters of the British East India Company. Morrison Chapel is named after Dr. Robert Morrison. Not only was he the first Protestant missionary in China, but also the first to translate and publish the Bible in Chinese. Behind the chapel, there is the old Protestant Cemetery which is one of the sites of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Historic Center of Macau.
The service is held every Sunday, at 9:00am.
