Macao Light Festival 2020
The Macao Light Festival 2020 is bringing light installations, interactive games and projection mapping shows, accompanied by music, to brighten the city every night between September 26 and October 31, 2020.
Among the highlights of the festival are the projection mapping shows, with projections at heritage buildings in Tap Seac Square featuring as one of the main spots this year. The shows will also “paint” once again the façades of the Macau Yat Yuen Canidrome, formerly a dog racing track; and the Cozinha Pinocchio restaurant at Largo dos Bombeiros in Taipa Village, along with two other new sites on this edition, namely the China Products Company building in Hong Kung Temple Square and the Wong Ieng Kuan Library in Areia Preta Urban Park.

“Diamonds of the Kitchen” Seasonal Truffle Menu at The Manor
The Manor at The St. Regis Macao presents a limited-edition six-course menu of exquisite culinary fare featuring the rich, earthy flavors of white and black truffles from Italy until the end of November. Crafted by Executive Sous Chef, Michele Dell’ Aquila, the special “Diamonds of the Kitchen” six-course set dinner menu sparkles with a selection of dishes showcasing the finest white and black truffles from Piedmont.
Highlights of the “Diamonds of the Kitchen” menu include Blackmore Waygu Beef MS9 carpaccio served with umeshu and yuzu jelly, foie gras torchon and dressed with shavings of white truffle, as well as a choice of classic northern Italian comfort food–house-made egg tagliolini with Bordier butter, porcini mushroom, and white truffle or Acquerello risotto with gold foil, artichoke, Japanese mushroom, and white truffle. For something more substantial, the “Diamonds of the Kitchen” menu offers Guinea fowl breast glazed with spices, served with salt-baked French carrots and black truffles, followed by an Australian wagyu beef fillet with Romanesco broccolini, potato galette, morel mushroom, and white truffle.

AJ Hackett’s Crazy Jump Day!
AJ Hackett Macau Tower is back and running its “Crazy Jump Day” event that is widely publicized, both locally and internationally. This year they will hold the event on October 25, which also coincides with the AJ Hackett International 30th year anniversary. The event’s theme is “costume of any style” and participants can get as creative as they like with their costumes. Do note that costumes need to meet some safety protocols.
This day includes the coolest activities at AJ Hackett like bungy jump, tandem skyjump, and tandem bungy jump (both tandem modes include gifts and prizes for two).

The Magnificent Baroque at Dom Pedro V Theatre
The Baroque period was a brilliant era in which famous artists emerged and creativity burst out in the history of European art.
