STORIES OF THE SEA – THE THIRD CHAPTER AT THE MANOR

An exquisite culinary experience awaits diners at The Manor with the renowned Stories of the Sea menu entering its third exciting chapter, featuring an all-new six-course menu showcasing the finest ingredients sourced from seas in every corner of the globe. Continuing the fine tradition of the first and second chapters of the awe-inspiring menu, Stories of the Sea – The Third Chapter introduces some of the world’s finest seafood and leading-edge presentation techniques to create an unforgettable dining experience.

Among the decadent six-course menu, the signature dish is a French turbot with Brittany blue lobster, sourced from the cool waters of northern France. Served with a salted egg yolk lava stuffed within fresh pumpkin flower and accompanied by sautéed sea asparagus and orange purée, the dish presents diners with an intense combination of rare flavors and textures that highlights the freshness of the fish and lobster.

When: 6:00pm–11:00pm, November 4–December 31, 2019

New Winter Chinese Delicacies on the Menu at Yum Cha

Yum Cha presents to you the flavors of Chinese comfort food with a six-course set menu including double boiled bamboo pith and wonton soup, Ibérico pork char siu, braised rice with conpoy and roast duck and more. Their specials include whole peking duck, steamed Boston lobster with homemade yellow bean sauce, mandarin fish with preserved vegetables, among other dishes.

Spanish Gastrobar Barcelona

Taipa Village Destination announces the opening of Barcelona, an innovative new Spanish restaurant and bar helmed by renowned Chef Hector Costa Fernandez, offering diners traditional Iberian culinary flair with a modern twist. Barcelona is the latest in a range of trendsetting outlets to open in Taipa Village which continues to emerge as Macau’s most vibrant dining and entertainment precinct.

Chef’s recommendations include “Secreto” roasted Iberian pork ribs with spicy pineapple and cinnamon, classic suckling pig terrine, and traditional paella, Barcelona style. The classic Spanish dishes and those featuring the delicacy of Iberian pork available at Barcelona are the embodiment of traditional Spanish cuisine. The menu is complemented by a list of Spanish wines, beers, and refreshing cocktails, all personally hand-picked by Chef Hector.

Tales of Awadh by The Golden Peacock

The Golden Peacock celebrates Awadhi cuisine, the centuries-old cooking tradition native to the city of Lucknow in northern India. Infused with saffron and an array of colorful spices, it is an irresistible aromatic cuisine that draws influences from the culinary cultures of Central Asia, the Middle East, and northern India.

Awadhi cuisine is renowned for its Dum style of cooking. This style of cooking is when the meats and vegetables of each dish are slow-cooked in dough sealed containers over a very low flame. Shami kebabs, Galouti kebabs, Kakori kebabs, Seekh kebabs, Kormas and Pulao–all cooked in Dum style–are now synonymous with the city of Lucknow. “Tales of Awadh by The Golden Peacock” is an ode to the rich culinary heritage of Lucknow and a profoundly diverse cuisine rooted in a myriad of culinary cultures. The Golden Peacock serves artisanal Indian cuisine and has maintained its one Michelin star since 2014 with its impeccable dishes and faultless service.

Himi is a small town in Toyama Bay, located in Toyama Prefecture. Himi is a fishing town and the best place to go to taste the freshest and most incredible sashimi. Yamazato offers delights of Toyama prefecture “Grilled natural yellowtail with taro” for diners to enjoy an exceptional taste, experience its gorgeous pink flesh and melting texture. From December 5–31 Yamazato offers three highlighted menus: Omakase Mini-Kaiseki Siwasu set-lunch, Omakase Kaiseki Bantou, and Omakase Kaiseki Siwasu set-dinners.

Omakase Mini Kaiseki Siwasu set-lunch includes appetizer Japanese mustard spinach udo crab, clear soup with a cake of oyster and radish, two kinds of seasonal sashimi, grilled natural yellowtail with taro, simmered radish and codfish with white miso, braised rice with sakura shrimp comes with red miso soup and pickles and seasonal fruits. Omakase Kaiseki Bantou set-lunch includes appetizer Japanese mustard spinach udo crab, clear soup with cake of oyster and radish, three kinds of seasonal sashimi, hassun (liver of monkfish with vinegar sauce, sushi of yam), grilled natural yellowtail with taro, simmered radish and codfish with white miso, lightly seared salmon with apple vinegar, braised rice with sakura shrimp comes with red miso soup and pickles, and seasonal fruit. It is an evening inspired by the emerging culinary movement of adopting sustainable practices in the kitchen, a mantra that is championed by esteemed Michelin-starred kitchens around the world. For one night only, six internationally renowned culinary masters from two and three-Michelin-starred restaurants around the globe and a celebrated pâtissier join hands to craft a dining experience like no other for hundreds of gourmet aficionados and industry giants alike.

Melco brings the glamorous gastronomic journey for the fourth consecutive year to Macau, a UNESCO-designated “Creative City of Gastronomy”. The Official Title Partner of the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2020, Melco celebrates top-class hospitality and gourmet dining where guests will be indulged in a seven-course wine-pairing dinner, prepared by culinary geniuses from around the world.
