Macau Zentangle Art Joint Exhibition
This exhibition is arranged by four locally certified Zentangle teachers who are Vibian Kou, Ron Loo, Velda Chan, and Katniss Ao Ieong, where the artworks of certified Zentangle teachers and their students will be demonstrated. The artworks consist of cooperated creation, merged creation and Zentangle inspired art, and more.
Zentangle art originates from the U.S. which is the new rising art style. It is a relaxing drawing method that allows artists to relieve pressure and gain self-recognition. When drawing zentangles, simple lines are applied to draw pretty and complicated patterns, under a certain framework with personal thoughts added, so as to achieve a state of relaxation and concentration.
Since zentangle students come from different ages and career backgrounds, they take away their own unique interpretations after working with zentangles. These students bring interesting stories to share. The aim of this exhibition is to promote zentangle so that we can experience zentangle art as being tangible. Art is not supposed to be untouchable. Everyone can enjoy creating art that can positively impact others.
