Andrea was born and raised in Colombia. From a young age, she developed her passion for travel, new cultures, and languages. She studied abroad and traveled the world, visiting over 30 countries and learning four languages.
She lived in the United States for 14 years; studied in Boston and earned a bachelor’s degree in business communication and a master’s in marketing. She relocated to Las Vegas to work in the hospitality industry, developing sponsorships and marketing promotions for the most recognized hotel and casinos. Her experience extends into the beverage industry, running marketing campaigns for world famous liquor brands. Andrea has over 12 years of experience in marketing, communications and public relations.
In 2013, she followed her heart to Macau, supporting her husband’s career. She enjoys living in Asia and writing about travel, culture, and lifestyle. Her time is spent exploring unique places, restaurants, and bars around Macau, and learning Mandarin, which will be her fifth language. She is involved in the Macau community and currently supports the International Ladies’ Club of Macau (ILCM) by running Corporate Relations for the non-profit association.
