Macau has no shortage of great pool destinations. With summer just around the corner, here is our list of spots to cool off, relax poolside with a drink, and take in the views. Our philosophy: beat the heat, relax, and do it with style!

Sofitel Macau At Ponte 16

Sofitel’s pool is the spot to relax under the sun while watching the boats crisscrossing the river from the vantage point of the balcony. Soak up some sunshine poolside and get some iced drinks and refreshments from Mistral Restaurant right by the terrace. If night swimming is your thing, the pool is illuminated to complement the bright city skyline. Pool access is only for hotel guests.

Wynn Macau

Surrounded by lush gardens and tropical palm trees, the Wynn pool garden features two heated pools, a whirlpool, plush lounge chairs and inviting cabanas. Lounge by the pool as attendants provides complimentary sunscreen on a silver tray, in addition to ice water and towel service. Lunch and drinks are also available and Wynn Pool access is only for hotel guests.

Swimming pool at Gran Lapa Macau

Grand Lapa, Macau

Relax or do laps in the heated swimming pool surrounded by cascading waterfalls. There are also water slides to keep children and adventurous adults occupied, as well as indoor and garden whirlpools and an outdoor jacuzzi. The children’s center caters to children aged 3–12 years, is free for members and allows you to drop off your children and make full use of other facilities. Free access to the Grand Lapa Pool when you book your stay at the Grand Lapa, Macau. Memberships start from MOP $19,420.

The St. Regis Macao

One of the most luxurious hotels in Macau, The St. Regis Macao opens its outdoor swimming pool to non-guests, sometimes with great promotions–especially during summer. Besides hosting cool events related to wellness, it is greatly positioned for sun lovers: get the perfect tan while swimming in these waters. If you get tired, just relax under some shaded sunbed or sit with your feet dipped in the water. Can it get better? Actually, yes: The St. Regis Macao features a warm water jacuzzi for all those looking for a deeper level of relaxation, as well as a lower area destined for kids.

Sheraton Grand Macao has two major swimming pools with lots of space for people to do everything: swim, sunbathe, eat, drink cocktails, and relax while the kids play in the water. The view is nice–panoramic of Cotai–and everything is in its right place here. Freshen up in their transparent water or enjoy some sunshine on your skin. Shade and cabanas by the pool are also available, so be sure to check them out if you’re going with a large group of people (up to six). Some summer offers go as low as MOP $150 per person, which is an unmissable deal when it comes to a private pool in Macau!

The Venetian Macao 

The Venetian Pools feature four pools located outdoors, guests are welcome to swim in all four pools. Children can enjoy the larger main pools. For added privacy and quiet, check out the Murano pool and heated jacuzzi. Access only for hotel guests and members. Membership starts at MOP $950 per person or MOP $1,620 for couples.

All the facilities at MGM Cotai have received great reviews including their outdoor pool that’s a pleasant sight. MGM is already an innovative icon of Macau.
